The rapidly growing convention and hospitality industry demands a qualified, well-trained workforce to provide a wide range of services to attract visitors and new business. Since food service comprises 71.3% of the industry share (Bureau of Labor Statistics), there is obviously a need for well-trained qualified food service professionals.
