Advantage Plus Professional Empowerment Training
Our Advantage curriculum is designed to develop individuals as professionals and prepare them to compete in today’s complex, rapidly changing business climate. The training modules motivate and prepare individuals to become job ready, competent and confident to compete in today’s job market. Our goal is to prepare them mentally, spiritually, and skillfully.
The program is comprised of core activities that help individuals build a foundation for professionalism, and concentrates on teaching professionalism and providing hands on training in the business and service industries.Our goal is to enhance the skills and performance levels of individuals for various types of entry-level jobs with career advancement opportunities.
We work in partnership with employers and other business and community organizations to help meet training and job placement objectives.
The goal is to at teach participants to recognize and develop their talents and abilities by exercising critical thinking, effective communication and customer service skills, as well as other success strategies. In addition to these essential soft skills, we offer training in computer and office technology.
Each module reinforces skills that are essential to maintaining professional standards in the work place. Applicants are trained via interactive classroom exercises, lectures, guest speakers, site-visits, individual and group projects, oral and written assignments, self-help reading materials and exercises. Each module also facilitates open dialogue, allowing participants to discuss their interests, unique talents and work experience. This dialogue is used to demonstrate how skill, aptitude and interest can be applied in today’s job market.
The training program will improve the skill and performance level of displaced workers, the welfare-to-work population, and students completing their dipolma studies, plus provide participants with practical skills, knowledge and techniques that will help them succeed in today’s job market.
